COCOPLANS 4-PEAT

Cocoplans, Inc. spearheaded by President Caesar T. Michelena, received its 4th consecutive award as the ‘Most Outstanding Pre-need Plans Provider’ on the recently concluded 18th Annual National Consumers Award (ANCA) held at the Casa Marinero, Intramuros, Manila last November 28, Wednesday. Cocoplans, an affiliate of the United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) was once again recognized by the Consumers Union of the Philippines (CUP) as an awardee for the service category. An ANCA Golden Statuette was received by Pres. Michelena together with his officers. Two other UCPB affiliates were awarded on the same ceremony. The United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Company (Cocolife) bagged the Outstanding Life Insurance Company Award while UCPB General Insurance Co. Inc. (UCPB Gen) took home the ‘Outstanding Non-life Insurance Company Award’. In the ceremony, CUP through the Annual National Consumers Award reiterated that ‘Everyone is a consumer’ and thus, motivating every manufacturer, producer, wholesaler/retailer, businessman and professional trader to give a pair return of the consumer’s hard earned peso by producing quality goods and services and give the right quantity and quality at the reasonable price should be done.
